Historical EBITDA multiples

Been looking around and in my attempts to justify a past LBO, I am trying to find historical multiples THe search is not yielding what I need, as most information is from lower sized deals. Any idea on where I can find multiples by industry from 2000-2001 for large LBOs?

some MM banks will post online deal comps updated each quarter - I had to use them for one of my case studies. Forgot which banks but they exist. Found it after googling till world's end but found it nonetheless!

ok thanks, I am hoping to not have to pay for the information. Would bloomberg at my school be able to give me the info? I think I am going to end up just typing in PE deal from 2000-2001 and reading headlines.....Thanks for the help though.
