How common is co-invest / carry at Associate level?
I have gone through multiple processes and maybe 1 or 2 offered carry at the associate level and none have mentioned co-invest opportunities.
Is this common at the LMM/MM level?
Also is a signing bonus / relocation bonus standard?
I would say that carry to associates is very rare, particularly if the PE firm expects to send their associates off to business school.
Relocation / Signing bonuses really depend. I was never offered a signing bonus for any job other than my IB job out of undergrad, but I did once get relocation (which is essentially the same thing as a signing bonus). In short: I wouldn't expect it as it definitely is not 'standard'.
