Can anyone at VP or Partner level in PE actually explain how it actually works from the perspective of the professional at the fund: when you first got carry, how many bps above what % hurdle, did you have to ask for it or negotiate, when does is start getting paid out, over how many years is it paid out, total payout expectation, is it enough to prevent you moving funds....
