How long to hear back after 2nd round?

Hi all - Just looking for a bit of validation to potentially calm my nerves here. I’m interviewing for a role with an UMM fund and have done two rounds so far. Next round is with 2-3 partners and I believe it’s the final round in the process. The 2nd round was the week before Thanksgiving and the HH told me they were excited to move me forward to the next round but have heard radio silence since then. I’m assuming it’s just taking a while to schedule considering how difficult it is to find times on a partners schedule but the total lack of communication for nearly 3 weeks is concerning. What are the chances they’re pushing someone else through the process now and holding on to me as plan B? Is that even a thing that people/firms do?
