How many companies do MFs buys with a single fund?
For example, if the fund is $10B, how many firms do they buy within the 5 years investment period? What is the range of valuations (EV) for each of those firms? What is the typical sum of EVs of all the companies bought with ~$10bn? (For example, if they put 50% equity on average, the $10bn fund should result in ~$20bn of total EV for all companies)
