How much does being non-target affect PE recruiting?

Hey Guys,For a little background, I come from a very non-target state school with a very small presence in IB, and almost 0 presence in PE. Next summer, I will be a SA in a BB Coverage Group that's probably top 4-5 in its industry (at least from what I've heard). My office places quite well in MF and top MM-PE shops. Most of those people, however, came from very good schools.Anyways, I know that I first need to worry about getting a return offer, staying humble, keeping my head down, and grinding through my analyst years, but I would love to gain some of your guys' perspectives. How much will being non-target affect me, if I get the opportunity to recruit for PE?I can see a couple of disadvantages right off the bat. I know that I will have no Alumni network to draw upon and will need to approach networking the same way I did for IB. I also assume that I will get less looks than an analyst with equal performance/ranking, but is from a target. But will doing well as an analyst overwrite where I went to school, at least to some degree?Any insight is appreciated, thanks!
