How to approach PE shop about higher base pay?
Obviously you see all of these posts about the base pay of IB analysts being increased across the board. Has anyone been successful convincing their MM PE shop to increase base pay as a result of these increases? Basically my base pay will now be the same as a first year analyst in a regular MM IB shop. Would appreciate any advice to approach the partners on this topic
