How to navigate HHs chats @ MBB?

Hey!

Fresh hire (post undergrad) at MBB and a couple of HHs have reached out to me via LinkedIn/Email. I want to do PE recruiting next year to have more time to prepare but unsure whether to hop on a call with them to introduce myself this cycle or whether I should just wait until next year. Curious to hear any input from ex-consultants that made the jump (and also any opinions on doing on-cycle vs off-cycle)
