How to prepare for take private case study?

So I have a 24 hour case study coming up for a fund; it is a growth fund/vertical segment specific fund that I am applying for that aligns with my IB group that I am familiar with, but their case study is much more general (this fund would never be able to even do a take-private).

Was wondering what nuances come in to play for a public to private case study where you have to recommend a price to buy in at. The case studies that I have been practicing for my industry are all private co's where you model in at most management roll-over/options. Never worked with a public company before, so was wondering what to look out for. How to go about dealing with shares outstanding, etc.
