For what level? Odd at associate level; fairly common at VP level.
Common even for associate if off-cycle. Off-cycle processes are more grueling b/c you are always having to meet more and more people. I have heard of off-cycle processes where you had to meet the entire investment team across 8-10 rounds of interviews excluding the technical portions of modelling test.
