IAmA Private Equity Intern, Q&A

Hi all, I have never posted on WSO. But I have used the resources a lot, and would like to give back. I'd like to share my story, my background, and how I managed to secure an internship with a private equity. And I would be more than willing to give my opinion on how to best approach getting into PE straight from university. Thanks. Background: I did my undergraduate in Economics at some typical Russel Group university in the UK, I'm now about to finish my masters at a G5 university. With regards to experience, I didn't have any finance internship prior to this PE one. I feel with my average background, I'd like to stress to never give up.
