IB or PE Summer Analyst?
I'm a sophomore sutdying computer science at a HYP school and will be working in tech next summer. However I am pursuing a finance internship at a top HF during the school year and was wondering whether it might be best to target IB or buyside roles for my junior summer. I am also considering consulting for my junior summer. My ultimate goal is to start my own startup, but I have an interest in HF as well--a summer in IB seems to keep all full-time options open, since I can go back to tech if I don't like it and still have buyside options and consulting available for full time. Does this logic make sense or should I be looking into buyside roles for next summer?
