Insight into Shore Capital Partners
Hi all, I'm curious to know more about Shore Capital Partners in terms of comp, reputation, exits, etc. Would also be great to her about their analyst program.
Thanks!

Bump
I don't work at Shore but work at another Chicago shop and have a few friends that work there (one an analyst, another a senior associate) in addition to running into Shore associates at networking events, so have a bit of second-hand familiarity.
Hours-wise, it's still PE so would expect around the industry average, but the culture is really strong there. Their associate class across the board seems happier than mine and have great company events.
The one negative I've heard is the depth of talent there is not quite the same as UMM / MF PE, so if you're a strong player you may get more of a workload, but this is very specific / anecdotal so wouldn't worry about it.
Do you have any insight into whether they recruit for associates out of banking? Would really love an opportunity with Shore but it looks like all their associates started out as analysts with the firm.
I recruited on cycle so not sure completely on this one, though I know they are currently recruiting for associate laterals so I would not be surprised if they were looking for post-banking associates if they are trying to expand their class.
update?
Thanks for your insight! Do you know about their comp at the analyst/associate level? Also,is it easy to exit to UMM/MF PE firms?
I don't know about analyst but think associate is ~$225k all-in or so, which in Chicago goes very far.
In terms of exciting to UMM / MF, given how hot the lateral market has been the past year I'd think it's possible.
