Anyone heard or worked at companies that operate in a really interesting niche (and might exert a high level of control over the industry they operate in)? Family owned - I’m thinking of examples like ASR Group (sugar refining), Asplundh, Quikrete. Bonus if they operate or are headquartered in CA.
