JD/MBA Placement Directly into PE
Was wondering whether JD/MBA programs at top schools such as Harvard, Wharton/UPenn, Columbia, UChicago offer students the opportunity to directly place into PE without previous IB experience in 2026? I have Corp. Dev. experience but mostly focusing on organic growth rather than M&A at a startup (I helped build a company from the ground up, $0-30mm in annual sales). My ultimate goal is to leverage my education to break into IB/PE/Alternative Investments. Is this possible in 2026?
