Joining a New PE Fund

Hi everyone,

I'm currently a Senior Associate at a global PE fund and I was invited by some very senior PE professionals to be part of a new PE fund that they are creating from scratch.

They are very experienced and qualified and, talking to people that worked with them in the past, they seem like cool people to work with. I'm also very confident that fundraising will not be an issue.

Any guidance on what I should focus on the negotiation? I currently have no benchmark on equity/carry that someone with my seniority should go for in such cases. My background: 3 years in IB then 3 years in PE

Thank you!
