Can anyone shed some light on KKR's Capital Markets operations in India - how different it is from their private equity business, what's the reputation and pay like and any other comments

At entry level, you can expect around INR60000. It is definitely seen with a discount. Unless you are from India, I wouldn't consider it (assuming you currently have a job). Why are you interested? Did you get an offer? I had a friend get an offer at KKR (not sure if it was capital markets), but he decided against it.
1200 dollars per year? That can't be right
@kinghongkong - that sounds absurdly low - i am currently employed by a BB outside of India so if the figure is correct, I wouldnt consider it as well. But I would be surprised if that were the case - personally I would expect INR 45 lpa (including bonus, or about USD 80k) atleast
