Large MM/UMM funds focused on food & beverage / food supply chain?
Have a friend who's close to the owners of a large ($1b+ rev) farmer & processor that's looking to sell a stake or potentially the whole thing. Would like to help him connect with a potential buyer since they're not running a full process (want to avoid media attention), but know absolutely nothing about food & bev sector. What are some big MM/UMM funds that would look at a business like this?
Paine Schwartz
American Securities
BDT
Kainos
L Catterton
TSG Consumer
Names off the top of my head that have been involved in mid/large sized food deals in the recent past.
Would echo every ag deal I've seen Paine Schwartz and Kainos ended up deep in the process.
Sycamore, MidOcean
Arbor Investments
