Leaving a SWF Opportunities

Currently working at one of the big SWFs in an investing group, mostly doing direct stuff without a GP partner but did co-investments for my first few months on the job. Starting to think seriously about what else is out there before I get too settled (been on the job for two years). Anyone have any advice on what type of other opportunities people in my shoes normally jump to? Would love to move to a GP but besides some light HH reach out not sure if thats possible
