how is fundraising for Fund VIII going? seems like solid performance in the past but didn't see Fund VIII closing since articles in 2024 saying they are targeting $1.8B

think they made a lot of money on that when they sold to veritas. Probably just a minority stake left so really mostly just affects Veritas.

Who is their recruiter btw? and what does associate comp look like?

Business School in CorpStrat:

Very familiar with a few of their portfolio companies in healthcare. Some sickening business models that really screws over debt ridden clinical students.

They don’t do healthcare based on their website & recruiting email??

They've exited Ross University (although this may be more of my issue with Caribbean for profit med schools, many students never finish and are riddled with well over 100K debt). In their current portfolio, ArcherReview's business IMO is shady. Has grown to acquisitions and those companies they acquire end up raising prices substantially while quality barely improves.

On second thought, I think I have more beef with the entrepreneurs / owners who have chosen to be involved in those businesses / or sell out for a nice payday rather than Leeds.
