Why would they hire if performance is so bad?
Mutiple people have left the fund across all levels and now they need people to do the shitwork
Looking at the website, they still have a lot of people (quite top heavy actually). Surely they can perform the work or those guys are lazy af? Expecting the quality of the CVs they will get is going to be sub-par, assuming what you said is true.
The place is going bust, widely known in the industry, hiring juniors because directors and MDs are useless can’t do their job properly and hence why the place is tanking
Can't they turn the ship around in your opinion? I have a handful of other funds that went through similar crap and actually recovered
Not with the senior management at the helm / toxic culture and incompetent terrible deal selection bought at astronomical prices, also the biggest write downs are about to happen or will happen in not very distant future. In the media they are blaming their downfall strategy on the flagship fund performance but this is not a full picture
Bought every single fiber business available for sale at peak valuation. The rest is history..
