London 2024 PE Graduate Positions
I'm a final-year student at a target in London with previous internships in PE and IB. All the major headhunters have reached out but when speaking to them it seems that recruiting for corporate PE is really slow this year and the only pure-play corporate PE opportunity so far has been for Warburg Pincus. Which PE firms will run grad programmes this year for corporate PE?

I'm in a tier 1 Bschool in UK and anecdotally, PE recruiting is really bad right now even for those with the right background
Yeah, it really seems so. Basically what headhunters are telling me is that they'll reach out as soon as they have something but they really don't have any mandates for PE atm. 5-6 headhunters have reached out to me and they all tell the same story. Some of them have reached out with stuff in the same sphere as PE, such as private capital advisory etc. but still nothing except Warburg Pincus for corporate PE.
Agree, even KKR/SLP/Apax digital processes are put on hold this year at least based on what HHs are saying
Let's hope that recruiting picks up in Q4'23 / Q1'24...
