Lower Middle Market Private Equity Groups that Win Auctions

Does anyone know where to find a database of lower middle market private equity firms that routinely purchase companies through competitive investment banking auction processes?

I haven't found this in PitchBook and it would be helpful when creating buyer lists.

Agreed. I also find the term "proprietary" thrown around a bit too loosely. Most times I've heard the term used it was really in reference to fund-seller relationships being developed/warmed prior to the launch of a process, and due to the existing relationship that fund will be welcomed into the process and have a stronger chance of winning the deal. But ultimately the opportunity was still banked.
