I am delighted to announce that applications for the LSESU Alternative Investments Conference are open!
The LSE SU Alternative Investments Conference is the world’s largest conference on Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Venture Capital. It takes place over two days at the five-star London Marriott hotel, and is a fantastic opportunity to network with over 320 delegates and hear from over 40 senior-level industry speakers.
In previous years we've hosted many high profile speakers, including David Rubesntein, Howard Marks and Guy Hands. This year boasts Jonathan Lavine from BainCap, Kurt Bjorklund from Permira and many others yet to be announced!
16 years in the running, this season’s Alternative Investments Conference will take place on the 23rd and 24th January 2023.
Have any of you been to previous conferences? If so, what were your experiences?
Friend went last year, said it was really shit, basically like a standard uni careers fair. Don't you have to pay like 180 pound aswell?
Same here, £160 for a few guest speakers and not much opportunity to network. Wouldn't recommend
I went years ago while at uni.
Price was a little on the high side. But I think the 'workshop' / breakout type sessions were more useful. Networking was OK. I definitely retained some of the things I learnt.
I think it was most useful to understand the different types of investing from VC, to PE, to private credit etc. etc.
