Master Thesis - Reasearch

Hi everyone!

I am turning to you guys today because as a last year student in a target business school in France, I have to redact a thesis to finish my Master. I have been interning for more than a year in finance (French system of gap year) doing M&A in France, PE in London and finally M&A as a SA in London. I enjoy the financial topics and I guess I am particularly interested in doing my research and thesis on something related to financial engineering / modelling / probably in PE.

I have come up with one broad, basic subject as a starting point - "Modelling the ideal LBO target" - and am now in the process of refining / coming up with something potentially less obvious, more accurate.

My ask will be simple: would any of you have recently read research papers relating to this kind of subject or do you guys have any other ideas of subjects that would fit my aspirations?

I hope I am clear enough and I look forward discussing this with some of you.

Bests, Rorshak
