Do most people on the "track" (IB --> PE --> MBA --> PE) do an internship in PE between the first and second years at a top MBA programs? Are you typically given an offer to return to the fund full time after you graduate?
Or it be a good idea to try to get some consulting or industry experience? Would love to hear some opinions and observations on this.
