MF deal sourcing; KKR/ BX vs Apollo
2 part question How would MFs such as KKR or BX source deals? I understand that Apollo would have a different way of sourcing deals because they invest in hairier deals, so how would Apollo go about sourcing deals?
Typically thematic, then track the assets, try get in front of the Mgmt. team (or PE owner if secondary). All about finding whatever edge there is.
