What does BX, KKR, WP and SL pay their analysts? With EVR (and other EBs likely following suit) raising A1 base to 120k, having higher signing bonuses of 25k+ (50k for CVR), and having significant bonus pools (110k at EVR this year), will the MFs raise comp to match?
That was a genuine question that could affect whether or not someone decides to spend time recruiting. Not everyone has the same values and criteria, and money could be a significant factor for some people who don't come from households with financial stability. Even if they aren't planning to recruit, they could have been simply curious about the topic; it would have taken you less energy to just not respond.
EDIT: My comment above was in response to the person's original comment, where they just said something like "Focus on getting an offer first". This happens all the time on WSO, which I didn't feel was helpful nor respectful to OP. They edited their comment later (per my additional comment below but not sure if people saw that).
Well if it’s 97.5 for summers I think it’s safe to assume 1st years are getting the same lol. Wouldn’t make sense for interns to be getting paid more than FT employees now would it?
Any word on Vista, Ares, and Bain Cap for analyst program comp increases? Also MM PE analyst programs at firms like GTCR, Graham, LLR, audax, alpine, or shore?
For first year analyst, Ares is 100k base + unknown bonus (10k signing); Warburg is 100k base + 100k bonus (10k signing); Bain cap is 100k base + 60-80k bonus (20k signing).
Vista Associate 1 comp is 140k base + 160k bonus + phantom carry (varies based on fund performance but ~$50k in your first year). Not sure about exact Analyst comp numbers but my friend said he made ~200k all in as an Analyst 1

focus on getting those programs and don't worry about pay

It’s also the right response. The programs pay very well. Maximizing year one earnings is almost 100% the incorrect approach.
The lifetime value of getting a MF PE offer is so large that these programs could pay 50% of what EVR does and it would still probably be worth it
.
Interested. Probably will raise pay as well.
.
Are you saying it was 97.5 base for their summer analysts prorated? or for full time analysts

Does anyone know what the bonus compensation was like?

Can confirm Ares raised base (along with higher bonuses this year) for analysts.
Was the raise across all strategies (PE/credit/infra)?
What did Ares raise to?
For first year analyst, Ares is 100k base + unknown bonus (10k signing); Warburg is 100k base + 100k bonus (10k signing); Bain cap is 100k base + 60-80k bonus (20k signing).
Ares first year analyst bonus was $100k this year
How do you know this for WP? And was this after the "30% increase" that Business Insider reported a while ago?
Bain Cap is now 110k base, 100k bonus and 25k signing for first year analyst
Can confirm that at least two UMM programs have raised based to 110k
Which UMM programs? I don't know a single one which has raised to 110k...
