MF PE Culture
I know there have been posts on MF culture, but I was hoping for a more focused post on the most bookish/academic work environments (or alternatively, least fratty cultures). Completed my internship this summer and realized how important culture is and I think a more bookish environment is one I would thrive in so would appreciate insight on this.
I've heard Blackstone tends to have the most analytical and technical culture. Carlyle and Bain I've heard tend to be "softer"
KKR is also very uptight / technical
BX feels very buttoned up from my experience
would agree with this
Buttoned up and conservative for sure. culturally, I'd think Bain will probably be the "nerdiest" of the largest funds
Every MF is how you describe. The days of fratty culture ended with the influx of gender diversity
