MM PC to Consulting

Hello,

I was a bit curious about the path to move to pe consulting (seen these practices at MBB and other firms) after a year or two at a middle market private credit firm. Given the nature of pe-backed transactions and volumes of companies seen in my current role, would a transition to that type of role be possible? I also read the diligence reports these consulting firms put together for these target companies. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
