Moving from Acquisitions to IR

Hi everyone,

Currently in Acquisitions (I’m in Real Estate, but guessing it should apply generally) in a Top 10 PE. I’m not overly enjoying the work and think a career in IR might work out better for me, based on the nature of the role and my personality.

Does anyone know what would IR pay in a Mega fund, from the 5 years of experience mark onwards? And if IR dosen’t work out, what kind of roles can I move on from there (not moving back to Acquisitions)?
