Fairly common at MM shops, as Portfolio associates can easily seek to work on new originals if keen (and sometimes required to due to lean structure). Target bonus is 50% for PM in MM.
Would be keen to hear how this compares to MF and fluidity of moving between portfolio and investment teams?

Recruiter told me Fortress PM associate all-in comp was $250k for Dallas. Thinking about how far that would go, it was tough to not throw my hat in the ring, but I’m not interested in PM work.
