how much influence do associates at megafunds or top pe shops have over interviews and handing out offers?
some ppl have told me that they can't even get ppl interviews bc of headhunters etc. so how powerful is networking in PE in comparison to IB?
Agreed. Clearly, networking won't hurt you (unless you f*ck something up along the way), but is it really worth the time if headhunters are the ones with the key to the locked door?
