No Info Session = No Chance for Interview?
If a firm had an info session and I wasn’t invited to attend, does that mean I’m unlikely to receive an interview there? Unclear whether the firm looked at resumes and decided who to invite or not, or if the headhunter decided not to send me the info. But either seems like a bad sign, right? Even if it was the latter, that seems like the headhunter won’t be planning to pass me along to that firm for interview consideration. Or am I just overthinking this and the info sessions are irrelevant?
Also curious...how important are coffee chats / info sessions? Do you assume you got dinged if you don't get invited to one?
Bump
Don’t think so. Got interviews with firms I didn’t hear anything from until tonight. Just hard to seem intelligent on the opp without it
