Non-NYC Recruiters
Hi all -
Is anyone aware of reputable recruiters that focus on the Southeast/Texas based buy-side shops? I have had several recruiters reach out to me these last few weeks and when I tell them I am interested in moving back closer to home (currently on east coast) almost all of them tell me they don't currently have roles in those geos but will keep an eye out.
Hoping to connect with recruiting shops that have connections and are plugged into the geographic markets I'm interested in, rather than wasting my or the east coast-focused recruiters' time.
As an aside - I am mostly focused on MM shops, so curious if anyone thinks I might have better luck reaching out directly to someone at the firm rather than going through recruiters. Open to any thoughts.

Not aware of any recruiters but know Arctos was recently looking to hire in Dallas (heard from a NYC/Boston recruiter but didn't see the role on their careers site)
