Oaktree Opportunities Fund - London

Hi guys,

Looking to learn about Oaktree Opportunities Fund. Specifically the London office.

From my understanding: ~$30bn globally for their Opportunities funds Latest fund (Opps XI) is $15bn

Extremely flexible mandate: Global pool of capital Sector agnostic Across the capital structure (1st lien senior secured to equities)

Any insights into deals, fund performance, culture, compensation, interview process etc. would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Did anyone do the first interview yet? Was it technical?

I have, what position are you applying for? I am applying for Snr. Analyst / Junior Associate.

I have a modelling test and am very nervous I will get crushed as don't come from a distressed debt / traditional IB background.

Any idea what to expect? Just practiced basic LBOs but heard Oaktree is historically harder than many buyout funds.
