If you on cycle for a firm for their SF office, are you able to off cycle for their NYC office? I would love to know if there is even a point in keeping in touch with the firm and headhunters for a different office. Thank you!

It’s firm dependent. Depends how independently the offices operate. I’ve known people who have interviewed for multiple offices after getting dinged by other offices at the same firm. No harm in keeping in touch to see what happens.
I wouldn't prioritize it, coming from someone who has been in a similar situation where firms say they'd be happy to re-interview you in a few months but they end up prioritizing other folks.
