Off cycle process

Hey monkeys.

In an off cycle process with few firms, moving very slow (1 interview a week, etc.) and have met 90% of the teams.

Just curious how the investment team / HR thinks about hiring in the off cycle.. are you looking for the “perfect” candidate & keeping all the “good” candidates in waitlist // super slow process. Do you only take someone if they have a competing offer?

Any insight much appreciated.

Other A2s feeling that they aren’t presented a lot of opps by HH?

Agreed - its very painful to have weekly interviews with one person and continue the trend with no end in sight.

I will keep trucking along but demoralizing to say the least. I’m tempted to say I have an exploding offer and have the post super-day waitlist firms finally give a concrete answer.
