On-Cycle 2021 Kick-Off
Obviously all speculation at this point, but given the process moves earlier every year, does anyone want to fashion a guess when recruiting will start this year? Would assume early-mid October?

As you said, all comments will be purely speculative at this point.
Whether it's October, December, or tomorrow, put yourself in the best position to succeed. Invest in prepping upfront, and be ready for when the phone rings.
Not to scare you, but I’m joining an Upper MM next summer and they said after taking with their headhunter, they expect the process to kick off mid-September. They follow suit once another large fund kicks off the process (last year it was Thoma Bravo).
Does anyone have any updates on this?
Would just suggest assuming it will kick off some time during the last two weeks of September. If it pushes to October, you’ll have extra time, but better to be prepared for sooner
Just a spectator here.
Timetable is bananas. (September!?!?! What in tarnation)
Carry on....
Heard rumors mid september to early early october. Not sure if we can prep through these LBOs fast enough...
Most of our events are happening in mid-September and we're not typically the one to launch it. It's been upper MM tech funds (Thoma in 2018 and FP in 2017) kicking it off so I would guess they are like 2 weeks ahead, meaning a mid-September start for the process
Does anyone know what to expect in terms of the interview expectations for the first years? Do funds expect them to model as well as the 2nd years going on-cycle?
