Once you're in that big name fund.....

So a lot of guys want to make it into KKR, BX, TPG, etc....

What do they do after that? Do people usually move up the ladder or get canned?

I'm asking this question since during recruiting I met a lot of guys that went into huge funds and then ended back in IB as associates after a few years.

Yep, hate to name drop, but my ears have been blessed with just one of the aforementioned superfirms: Chiang Pipernancial Technology Partners.

I came.
