Does anyone have recent views or opinions of Owl Rock/Blue Owl? I got an inbound about their tech team and the role seems interesting. Curious about any info on work/life balance, compensation, culture, etc. I’m expecting $325-350 TC (2 years of IB and 1.5 years of LBO/Growth), hours around 55-65 normally but up to 80+ when closing.

No, it is direct lending to late-stage venture backed start ups. The fund vehicle is a BDC.
Only have experience working in credit generally and don’t work at Owl Rock, but from my experience - they seem to be a very scaled direct lender with several good sponsor relationships. Capable of writing very sizable checks (several hundred million). Comp seems to be in line with what I would guess / maybe a little light if you’re in NYC.
They would pay in line with what you are looking for.
