Why?
I don’t want to give away too much info but fundraising is poor due to fund 1 performnace, lots of senior turnover (for reasons), founder is the only voice in the room
I worked there and can confirm all of this aligns with my personal experience there too. Senior turnover was extremely high, and the founder does not value the team which hurts morale.
I heard they were pretty solid, unique team and good culture
That was not my experience there. Perhaps it’s different when you’re not seeing behind the scenes. The founder cares a lot about optics, of course, and I bought into it at first, but my personal experience there was not a good one. I think that’s reflected in the consistently shifting senior leadership, among other things.
