PE Case Study Tips

Title says it all - have a 3 hour case study for a LMM PE fund coming up and trying to source some tips. All the info I've received is that there will be 'an LBO model and some analysis of the business.'

This is my first longer case study so in general, would appreciate some perspectives on what to expect. Will I likely receive a CIM/teaser and then have to build a model from that or will it be sort of a prompt with some basic financial information (similar to the LBO model prep courses)? Should the output be a short deck or an investment memo?

Would also appreciate some advice on any general frameworks for how to approach the business analysis portion. What should the split of time be between the model and some of the more qualitative assessments? Are there some certain key points to hit on for the more qualitative piece (e.g. a SWOT, competition assessment, estimates on TAM, market share, etc.)

Thanks!
