PE exits in London / Europe as Junior Associate

Have the opportunity to lateral as a Junior Associate from a Tier 2 bank (decent firm) to MS/JPM (coverage team in a "plain vanilla" sector such as consumer / industrials)

Definitely gonna take it, but when looking at exits its obvious that the great majority exited to the buyside during their analyst years

Are there still buyside opportunities (particularly MF / UMM, I understand that should be easier for MM) to recruit at the junior associate level, taking into account significance of the MS/JPM brand name?

I understand that PE funds are less rigid that in the US, but don't know to which extent HH might call you or you have to be proactive
