Obviously most PE firms are located in NYC, but I'm interested in finding out which other cities have a relatively large number of PE firms.
I've noticed that Boston has quite a lot, some in Greenwich, Chicago, Houston....
Am I missing some others?
If you could name some of respective MM PE firms in those cities, that would be very helpful as well.

There are dozens and dozens of MM pe firms outside of NY. And they are located in every major US city. You need to be more specific in your question.
at the place I currently work at, we have a database of pe firms all over the U.S. be more specific, and I might be able to give you a decent list on monday or tuesda.
