Pe firms investing in fertilizer/agriculture

As title says, any PE firms UMM or MF that invest in preferable fertilizer companies if not agriculture? Need ideas for PE firm that would potentially buy Scotts Miracle Gro for a project if anyone has any.

So 1) You're thinking too narrowly and 2) probably not even using the right filter in doing so. On #1, how many large-cap fertilizer brands do you think come up for sale?? This may be the first in its niche and really anybody who invests in consumer brands at the appropriate scale should be on your target list. On #2, thinking through business model, customer base, distribution motion, etc. is a million times more analogous than the agriculture lens from an underwriting perspective... there are "agriculture investors" who own, like, manufacturers of farming equipment and would have no idea what to do with something like this.
