PE Funds that Sponsor MBA
The last thread on this is five years old now, but mentioned GI Partners, GTCR, Madison Dearborn, and BainCap. Are there any other PE firms that are known to consistently sponsor MBA for their associates in 2020?

Career Resources
I know that GTCR still does. They also don’t make pre-MBA associates compete with each other for the sponsored MBA since they’re willing to sponsor everyone that’s good and wants it.
Incoming 1st year here - what do you mean by 'sponsor'? do they pay for it?
Yes. Paid for with the string attached that the associate will return to the firm post-mba for at least 2-3 years.
TPG and Blackstone do for top performers. I believe CD&R does as well.
What % of top performers? And also do you know what stipulation is? return for 2 years or more?
.
Does anyone know whether Carlyle does?
Anyone know anything about sponsorship for other megafund PE?
bain i believe
What are the general terms of them paying for it? I imagine you’d have to work there for x amount of years otherwise there’s a clawback of some kind. How long does that tend to be?
Does it matter? If you get the post-mba job, why would you want to leave? If anything, I feel like most people in those roles are trying to avoid getting pushed out
I’d take that opportunity in a heartbeat, but things happen in life so I want to know what could go wrong if an even better opportunity appears after.
For those MFs that do sponsor their top associates, does anyone know around how many (# or %) they choose to do so for, per year?
