Got a message from a recruiter for an associate position in a "emerging PE fund" in Phoenix,AZ. They want people with exp in lev fin, distress debt and fixed income. I'm not sure if I should reply, how's the PE market out there in Phoenix? (I'm in NYC) Personally, I've never heard of any PE funds out there in Phoenix, and how's the pay like (I know it's not gonna be same as NYC...)? TIA for any insights, just exploring my options.
