The IB lateral / hiring market is super hot right now. Does anyone have a sense for how the PE/Growth/VC hiring market is doing?
Currenting at a LMM fund, but thinking about lateralling or perhaps taking advantage of this market and get back into a better IB as an Associate.

Spoke to a buddy at an LP shop earlier this week and he said that all of their GPs are planning on hiring more junior and mid-level this year to support the deal flow.
Also, I have been receiving many job posting / emails for PE junior and mid level positions in the last 2 months. I would say there are good # of opportunities, but not sure relative to IB lateral hiring.
