PE on cycle guide

Looking for a master checklist to have nailed down for PE recruiting.

LBO Modeling:
List of what I should be able to integrate into an LBO

Paper LBO:
What I should be comfortable building into and calculating in a paper LBO

Case study:
Framework to assess a business, tips to differentiate vs what other candidates may say

Technical Q prep:
Cap leases, DTLs, NOLs, asset vs stock sale? Are these necessary to be able to discuss quantitatively?

Deal walkthrough:
Framework and nuances of the deal to have memorized

Please feel free to add anything I am missing.

Also not at a bank very supportive so don’t have many resources, would really appreciate modeling tests and case studies from previous cycles that anyone could provide.

Would definitely prefer to discuss over PM as well if anyone is generous enough to share specifics on the above.
